Brake Hose
1. |
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
|
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).

|
3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
•
|
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle, it may damage
the paint; if brake fluid does contact the paint, wash
it off immediately with water.
|
•
|
Make sure no dirt or other foreign matter is allowed
to contaminate the brake fluid.
|
|
|
4. |
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
|
5. |
Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.
Tightening torque :
107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing
the front wheel and tire (A).
|
|

6. |
Remove the brake hose clip (A).
|
7. |
Remove the tube flare nut (B).
Tightening torque :
12.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.7 kgf.m, 9.4 - 12.3 lb-ft)

Remove the brake caliper hose bracket bolt (A).
Tightening torque :
12.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.7 kgf.m, 9.4 - 12.3 lb-ft)
|

9. |
Remove the hose after loosening the brake hose bolt (A) from the caliper.
Tightening torque :
24.5 - 29.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf.m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb-ft)

Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing
the rear wheel and tire (A).

6. |
Remove the tube flare nut (A).
|
7. |
Loosen the brake hose bracket bolt (B).
Tightening torque
(A) : 13.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.4 - 1.7 kgf.m, 10.1 - 12.3 lb-ft)
(B) : 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.8 - 11.8 lb-ft)

Remove the tube flare nut (A).

9. |
Remove the hose after loosening the brake hose bolt (B) from the rear
drum brake.
Tightening torque
(A) : 13.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.4 - 1.7 kgf.m, 10.1 - 12.3 lb-ft)
(B) : 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.8 - 11.8 lb-ft)

Remove the brake hose clip (A).
|
6. |
Remove the tube flare nut (B).
Tightening torque
12.7 - 16.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.7 kgf.m, 9.4 - 12.3 lb-ft)

7. |
Remove the hose after loosening the brake hose bolt (A) from the caliper.
Tightening torque
24.5 - 29.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf.m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb-ft)

1. |
Check the brake tubes for cracks, crimps and corrosion.
|
2. |
Check the brake tube flare nuts for damage and fluid leakage.
|
1. |
To install, reverse the removal procedures.
•
|
Use a new washer (A) whenever installing.

2. |
After installation, bleed the brake system.
(Refer to Brake System - "Brake Bleeding Prcoedures")

3. |
Check the brake oil leakage and pedal operating condition.

LKA system may operate prematurely even if the vehicle does not depart from the
intended lane, OR, LKA system may not warn you if the vehicle leaves the intended
lane under the following circumstances:
When the lane and road conditions are poor
It is difficult to distinguish the lane marking from the road surface or
the lane marking is faded or not clearly marked...

Seat belt warning light (for driver’s seat)

As a reminder to the driver, the seat belt warning light will illuminate for
approximately 6 seconds each time you place the ignition switch to the ON position
regardless of belt fastening. However, if the seat belt is unfasted, a warning chime
will sound for approximately 6 seconds.
