Replacement

1.	Remove the wheel and tire.

2.	Remove the valve core and deflate the tire.

3.	Install the wheel tire to the tire change machine.

4.	Push the tire as the illustration below.

5.	Remove the TPMS sensor by loosening the nut.

Push the TPMS sensor into the valve hole on the rim.

•	Position sensor housing horizental to the plane of rim well.

•	Position TPMS sensor axis coaxial with rim valve holt axis.

7.	Pre-assemble the nut on the TPMS sensor.

Tighten the TPMS sensor nut.

Tightening torque :

7.0 - 9.0 N.m (0.7 - 0.9 kgf.m, 5.2 - 6.6 lb.ft)

•	THE TPMS sensor fixing nut must not be reuesed.

•	Must asseble TPMS sensor without inclination in the right or left direction.

•	Gap between TPMS sensor housing and rim must be within 2.5 mm (0.0984 in).

•	TPMS sensor must be safe from harmful impact.

9.	Remove the tire change machine.

Inject air into the tire until the beads are in the correct position.

Tier pressure

17 inch : 2.3 kg/cm (33 psi)

18 ichh : 2.4 kg/cm (35 psi)

Diagnostic Procedure Using a Diagnostic Instrument

The following section describes how to diagnose faults using a diagnostic instrument.

1.	Connect the diagnostic instrument to the self-diagnostic connector (16-pin) beneath the crash pad on the side of driver's seat, and then turn on the ignition to activate the diagnostic instrument.

2.	In the GDS Vehicle Type Selection menu, select "Vehicle Type" and "TPMS" System, and then opt for "OK."

•	Check that Write ID and Read ID are the match.

•	After successfully registering the sensor, perform "Sensor Wireless Information" to confirm that the sensor operates properly.
