Removal

1.	Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")

2.	Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

3.	Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Fuel Pump")

4.	Disconnect the electric pump wiring connector (A) and the fuel sender connector (B).

5.	Remove the fixing clip (A), and then disconnect the fuel feed tube quick-connector (B).

6.	Remove the cushion pipe fixing hook (A), and then separate the head assembly (B) from reservoir cup.

Inspection

Check for the following items visually.

–	Cracks or leakage of the canister

–	Loose connection, distortion, or damage of the vapor hose/tube

C : Canister ↔ Intake Manifold

Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Canister installation bolt :

19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb-ft)
