Hyundai Venue: Blower / Blower Resistor (Manual). Repair procedures

Measure the resistance between the terminals.

2. |
The measured resistance is not within specification, the blower resistor
must be replaced. (After removing the resistor)

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
2. |
Separate the resistor connector (A), loosen the mounting screws and
remove the blower resistor (B).

3. |
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
|
Description
The climate control air filter is located in the blower unit. It eliminates
foreign materials and odor. The particle filter performs a role as an odor filter
as well as a conventional dust filter to ensure comfortable interior environment...
Other information:
Whenever the front door is opened, the Engine Start/Stop button will illuminate
and will go off 30 seconds after the door is closed.
WARNING
To reduce risk of serious injury or death, NEVER allow children or any person
who is unfamiliar with the vehicle to touch the Engine Start/Stop button or related
parts...
Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the rear bumper.
(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover")
3.
Remove the rear fog lamp assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws...
